The problem with grilles

Beautiful interiors, interrupted by ventilation.

Every air-conditioned room needs supply and extract air — but it doesn't need to look that way.

The problem

Standard air grilles and vent covers interrupt exactly the surfaces architects and owners care most about: clean ceilings and uninterrupted walls. A plastic or aluminium frame in the middle of a carefully detailed plane undoes the design around it.

Yet the HVAC system still needs correct airflow in every room — removing ventilation is never the answer.

The ERGOVENT answer

ERGOVENT concealed ventilation diffusers are built into the plasterboard ceiling or wall, plastered flush and painted together with the surface. What remains visible is a slim slot or a discreet opening — not a device.

Supply and extract air keep working exactly as the HVAC design intends. The grille simply disappears.

The range

Four families. One clean surface.

From discreet round and square diffusers to continuous linear slots — every family is concealed, paintable and made for both supply and extract.

RONDO / KVADRO

Round & square

Discreet point ventilation for individual rooms.

Where it’s used
Bedrooms, bathrooms, dressing rooms and utility spaces — one discreet point of air per room, in the ceiling or wall.
Best for
Renovations, room-by-room ventilation and retrofits onto existing round ducting.

LINEO

Linear

A continuous architectural line of air.

Where it’s used
Living areas, suites and open-plan spaces where the ceiling carries continuous details — lighting lines, shadow gaps, now air.
Best for
New builds that want ventilation drawn as a single clean line.

LINEO PRO

Premium linear

The refined linear range for demanding interiors.

Where it’s used
Design-led villas, hotel suites and premium workspaces where every junction is drawn, not defaulted.
Best for
Projects where the ceiling detail is part of the design language.

LINEO PRO CONDI

Advanced linear

A specialised LINEO PRO configuration.

Where it’s used
A dedicated LINEO PRO configuration for specific air-conditioning applications.

Choose by design intent

Start from what you want the room to feel like.

Five ways people arrive at ERGOVENT — and where each one leads.

I want the air vent to disappear

Every ERGOVENT diffuser is built into the surface, plastered flush and painted over — the whole range exists for exactly this.

I need a linear architectural detail

A continuous slot of air aligned with lighting and joinery lines — LINEO draws ventilation as part of the ceiling plan.

I need round duct compatibility

Working from existing round ducting? The round point diffuser is the natural starting point — we confirm connection details per model.

I need supply and extract

One design language for both directions of airflow, so supply and extract positions read identically across the whole plan.

I need a solution for a villa, hotel or condo

Installation confidence

Installed by your builder. Backed by our team.

Concealed doesn't mean complicated — the sequence is mount, plaster, paint, and every step is coordinated with the people already on site.

  1. Installation step 1: ERGOVENT body mounted into the plasterboard ceiling opening
  2. Installation step 2: plastering the diffuser flange flush with the ceiling
  3. Installation step 3: the finished diffuser painted together with the ceiling

Plasterboard integration

The body mounts into the plasterboard or gypsum build-up during second fix, sized to the ceiling zone you have.

Plastered & painted finish

The flange is plastered flush and the surface painted as one — the diffuser takes the same paint as the ceiling or wall.

Supply & extract

The range serves both directions, so supply and extract positions share one detail language across the plan.

Duct sizes confirmed per model

Connection details are confirmed against your duct plan before anything is ordered — no guesswork on site.

HVAC contractor coordination

We work directly with your HVAC contractor on positions, connections and sequencing with the ceiling works.

Technical documents

Specification sheets, installation guides and CAD data are in preparation for Thailand — current documentation on request.

All technical data must be verified against the current manufacturer documentation for your specific configuration before specification and installation.

Understanding concealed ventilation

New to hidden air diffusers? Start here.

The questions we answer most often — from architects, owners and HVAC contractors meeting the category for the first time.

What is a concealed ventilation diffuser?
A concealed ventilation diffuser is a supply or extract air terminal designed to be built into the ceiling or wall instead of mounted onto it. The body sits inside the plasterboard build-up, the flange is plastered flush and the surface is painted as one — so the room keeps its airflow while the visible grille disappears, leaving only a slim slot or a discreet opening.
Why use frameless air diffusers?
Because a visible frame is exactly what interrupts a premium interior. Frameless, paintable air diffusers keep ceilings and walls as clean, continuous planes — the ventilation reads as an architectural detail rather than a device. That's why they're specified by architects and interior designers for design-led projects.
Where can ERGOVENT diffusers be used?
In plasterboard and gypsum ceilings and walls across premium interiors: luxury villas, condominiums, hotels and resorts, offices and wellness spaces. The range covers discreet round and square point diffusers (RONDO / KVADRO) and continuous linear slot diffusers (LINEO family), for both supply and extract air.
Is it suitable for villas and hotels in Thailand?
Yes — that is exactly the market ERGOVENT Thailand serves. Every project is specified against current manufacturer data for its configuration, and our Thailand-based team supports model selection, quotation and delivery coordination for villas, hotels, condominiums and renovation projects across the country.
What information do you need for a quotation?
Drawings or ceiling plans, duct sizes if already known, the number of positions per room, whether each position is supply or extract, and the project location and timeline. Unsure about any of it? Send what you have — model selection is part of our job.

Send us your drawings. We'll do the selection.

Share your drawings or ceiling plans, duct sizes if you have them, rough quantities and the project location — we'll come back with model selection, configuration guidance and a quotation.
